Borders separate - Solidarity unites.

Borders separate - Solidarity unites.

Constantina Kuneva is with a damaged by vitriol face, with burnt inner organs, having lost one of her eyes, still with voice because of irrecoverable damages in her vocal chords, since 22 December.
Constantina is mother of a child, immigrant for a better life in Greece.
She works as a cleaning woman in train stations and she is employee at one of the biggest cleaning companies in Greece.
Her employers, as all these contract work companies, are in reality modern slavers as long as laws that have been voted with commission of European Union give them the right to let employees in projects with high contracts for the company and low wages for the workers. (most of the times lower than basic wage and against greek labor legislation).
Constantina is like thousands other cleaning women from Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Pakistan, who meet every day the loot of their drudgery and work.
The story is old and well-known.
Workers work and others enjoy the gain of their labor.
But Constantina hasn’t submitted to this situation. She is member in a autonomous militant union for cleaning women (PEKOP) and fights together with her colleagues for better wages and dignity. Constantina harasses bosses interests. That’s why she becomes a target of murder assault.
This assault against Constantina is not an isolated incident. There are hundreds, even thousands, murdered immigrants in Greek borders by drowning, mines, the army.
There are hundreds murdered immigrants by police inside Greece.
There are dead workers regardless of nationality in labor accidents every day.
From the first moment that Constantinas murder assault has been known, people in Greece rise. A autonomous, in different ways and for different reasons solidarity movement defends Constantina since 5 months now by gathering money for her medical treatment, demonstrating against her murderers nad those that covers them. That means against these work contract companies, against state labor unions, against police and state.
With concerts, speeches, gatherings, squats, strikes, classes, this movement fought and continue to fight for the abolition of these laws that transmute companies into slave markets, for decent wages for Constantinas colleagues, for her fight to be cleared, for stopping bosses and who else doing what they did to Constantina Kuneva.
In this period of 5 months, people of every age, ideology, language, job are united in a common, autonomous, without a guardian of political parties and leaders, fight.
In these 5 months in Greece it isn’t nationality the reason to separate us but solidarity, the understanding that Bulgarians, Greeks, Turks, Albanians, Macedonians have nothing to split. We have to fight together in order we share in common the future and a world that bosses steal from us in daily routine.
Thats why we are here today, in Sofia, women and men from Greece, a day that means so much for workers struggle, for struggle for freedom and society’s dignity.

For bosses there are no borders, why for people to exist?
Racism makes workers enemies among them and Bosses more powerful.
Common struggle in Balkan without power but with solidarity

Solidarists to Constantina Kuneva from Thessaloniki, Ioannina, everywhere.
